Cabernet Sauvignon - Gran Reserva 2022
The grapes come from different sectors of the vineyard, of different ages, planted on alluvial and colluvial soils, thus achieving a complete and typical reflection of what a Cabernet Sauvignon from our Fundo Liguai is. Fresh red fruits and certain black fruits appear on the nose, with sweet aromas and a touch of kitchen herbs. In the mouth it presents soft but persistent tannins with a certain sensation of sweetness and volume, typical of its passage through oak barrels that make our Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva a great example of the variety and its origin.

TASTING NOTES
Bright and clean, medium viscosity wine, with an intense ruby red color and a pale ruby rim. Its legs fall quickly, indicating a low percentage of alcohol. On the nose, aromas of fresh red fruits such as cherries and raspberries stand out; subtle notes of blackberries and blueberries are also perceived, providing a sensation of ripe fruit. Its aging in barrels imparts light touches of cocoa and sweet spices, which help to complexify the aromatic profile. As a whole, it is a very attractive wine that evokes a sensation of freshness. The wine is young and lively, with a smooth and balanced start, where the red fruits remain with good intensity and persistence. The acidity is balanced, which gives freshness and liveliness to the wine. Subtle spicy touches, such as black pepper and clove, complement the ripe fruit notes. The contribution of the different types of oak is discreet, tannins are soft and round, without overshadowing the fruity and varietal character

It can be served with a variety of dishes, including lean meats, doughs such as pizzas and empanadas, white meats such as turkey or chicken with mild sauces, and semi-mature cheeses such as gouda, cheddar, gruyere.
